Inspiration

For my Austin City Limits poster series I decided to go with the Fleet Foxes, a Settle-based indie folk band. When looking at the album art for their self-titled album I was reminded of M.C. Escher's artwork.

Probably because of the medieval landscape in the cover-art and the shapes of some of buildings/arches.

I went to the library to uncover some Escher drawings that have these types of buildings in them.

Ideally I will be able to incorporate something into my poster to give this medieval feel.
