Yesterday I started a new song animation video. This time I choose a pretty obscure band/ song, with the hope that if the video turns out well they could use it for promotion. Here is a link to what I have so far...

Arcade Fire Poster
While over in London a bunch of us went to the Arcade Fire concert in Hyde Park. Before the concert I was pretty excited and started sketching out poster ideas. Now that I have access to Adobe Programs again I have been working on digitizing the poster. Here are a couple of drafts:

Missing My Dog
Today a group of us were at a restaurant by the Saatchi Gallery and spotted this dog eating outside with his owner. The dog was so well behaved, and also pretty cute...

The London Eye
Today was a beautiful day in London! So after we were done for the day a group of us decided to go ride the London Eye. It was a lot of fun and we all captured some great shots of the view. I uploaded some of my best shots to the London set on Flickr, along with a couple other pictures from the day. Here is a sampling below:

SPOTTED - Banksy Artwork
Well not so much spotted, as hunted down. At the beginning of the trip I searched online for locations of Banksy artwork in London and circled some locations on our map. Today we were meeting an artist at his studio right up the street from one of my circled locations. So after our talk a couple other people and I went searching. Unfortunately some of the work had been painted over/ worn off, but it was still a great experience!
Here is a picture I found of the work before parts of it were painted over:

London - Week One
Finally got some of my pictures uploaded from my first week here. I don't have any software with me to edit them, so some have heads and things that I'll crop out when I get home. There are a few below, but check out the rest on Flickr.

DCCA Final Video
After running into issues with our original layout we decided to make all of the text phrases the same size. This made it a lot easier for us to put them together for the video. It also made it so that one phrase filled up that entire shot. Below is the layout we used for the vide and a youtube link to the final video:

Delaware Center for Contemporary Arts
The DCCA is a non-collecting museum located in Wilmington, DE. http://www.thedcca.org/
The goal of the video that we create is to explain the DCCA and its programs to potential funders and individual donors. The organization wanted to incorporate pictures that they already had and touch on all of the things they are involved in. In order to accomplish this we created a script to narrate a text grid that we created while the camera pans over it. These videos served as our inspiration:

We plan on doing all of the text hand done in various mediums based off of the fonts that they are currently set in. We are also going to do small animations for all of the clipart on the poster.
Here is a rough comp of our video: http://udel.edu/~aebrown/DCCA.html

Sprite Sheets for Swamp Simulation
For the video game swamp simulation that our class is doing with computer science students the art students have to create sheets of still images for the six directions that the animals can move. Below are both of my frogs and my tadpole:

Food Bank of Delaware process
For this project we had to advertise the Food Bank of Delaware's Summer Feeding Program. As a group we decided to target high school students that have to complete volunteer service hours for graduation. Here are some early drafts of the hand-done type I did for the project:
